i lied about wpbook – now with more wordbooker

Yeah, so I decided to go with Wordbooker instead cause WPBook looks a little bit like overkill for my purposes…
My apologies for yet another test post as I get this stuff working

Hooray, I made it so that email addresses are anonymized, and only first names are brought across to the public blog. Win! Now, to go home.
Hi there! I just came across this slightly old post of yours trying to make my blog befriend facebook
I settled on wordbooker too, but I can’t seem to figure out how to do just what you talked about – use only first names and anonymize the link to the facebook page. I would be so grateful for a pointer as to how to do it!
Thanks in advance,
Christoph
Hey Christoph! I must admit, it was a bit tricky. I had to edit the code in wordbooker_cron.php and wordbooker.php. Unfortunately once you’ve done that, you can’t automatically upgrade the plugin any more or it will undo the modifications. I hear the author of the plugin is looking at including this feature in a later release but in the meantime, I can email you info on the modifications I made if you like?
